Bakery Receipt
Receipt Caker is a free browser-based tool for bakery receipts. Itemize custom cakes, dozens of pastries, and special orders, then give the customer a clean record.
- How do I make a bakery receipt?
- Receipt Caker builds bakery receipts free in your browser. Add your bakery name and the date, then list each item, whether a custom cake, a dozen pastries, or a special order, on its own line with a quantity and price. The tool totals every line, applies tax, and shows a running total as you type. Download a watermarked PNG for free, or upgrade to Pro for a watermark-free PDF for custom-order deposits.
- What should a bakery receipt include?
- A bakery receipt should show your bakery name, the customer, the date, and a receipt number. Itemize each product, using quantity for dozens and per-item pricing for custom work, plus any custom decorating or rush fee, and note a deposit for special orders. Close with a subtotal, tax, payment method, and total. That gives the customer a clear record and keeps your order and bookkeeping tidy.

What a Bakery Receipt Records
The header names your bakery, the customer, the date, and a receipt number. For a custom order, that number ties the receipt to the cake or catering tray, which helps when the customer returns to pick up or reorder.
The body itemizes the products. A birthday order might show a line for a custom cake, a line for two dozen cupcakes, and a line for a decorating fee, each priced separately so the customer sees exactly what makes up the total.
The receipt closes with the subtotal, tax, payment method, and total, and can note a deposit already paid on a special order. Receipt Caker keeps all of the math live so the figures stay correct.
Custom Cakes, Dozens, and Deposits
Bakery orders mix per-item and bulk pricing, so the quantity field does a lot of work. Set it to a number of dozens or individual pieces and enter the unit price, and the tool multiplies them, which makes larger orders quick to price.
Custom cakes often carry a decorating or design fee on top of the base price, and that belongs on its own line so the customer sees the craftsmanship charge clearly. Rush orders can carry a separate fee line too.
Special orders usually take a deposit, which you can reflect on the receipt so the remaining balance is clear at pickup. Receipt Caker allows unlimited lines, so a full order fits on one receipt with every item shown.
Legitimate Uses for Bakery Receipts
The main use is giving the customer proof of their order and payment, which they may keep for an event budget, a gift record, or a corporate order filed as a business expense.
For your bakery, itemized receipts feed bookkeeping and tax filing, keeping product sales and custom-work fees organized. Clear records make sales-tax handling and year-end accounting far simpler.
If a receipt from a past order is lost, you can recreate an accurate copy from your order records for your own files. Receipt Caker is intended for these legitimate purposes and produces generic receipts, never an imitation of another bakery's branding.
PNG or PDF for Bakery Orders
The free PNG export gives you a crisp image with a small watermark, ideal for texting a customer a receipt or saving a copy of the order to your records.
The Pro PDF removes the watermark, prints cleanly, and carries your bakery logo, which suits custom cake orders and corporate accounts where a polished receipt matters.
Both run in the browser with nothing to install. Enter the order, choose PNG or PDF, and the receipt downloads to your device immediately.
