Cash App Receipt Generator

A peer-to-peer payment confirmation is the sparsest receipt there is. No merchant, no items, no tax. What it records is that one person sent an amount to another person, when, from which funding source, and with what note attached. Receipt Caker builds that document.

How do I make a peer-to-peer payment receipt?
Receipt Caker builds a payment confirmation in your browser. Put sender, recipient, payment ID and funding source in custom rows, leave tax at zero, then export a PNG or PDF.
What should a P2P payment confirmation show?
Who sent the money and who received it, the amount, the date and time, the payment or transaction ID, the funding source it was drawn from, and whatever note the sender wrote.

Was Sie tun können

  • Custom rows for sender, recipient, payment ID and funding source
  • Tax rate set to zero, since a personal transfer is not a taxed sale
  • The memo field preserved as its own labeled row rather than an item line
  • Narrow paper with a clean face, matching an in-app confirmation screen
  • Any currency and locale, for transfers sent across borders
  • PDF export for attaching to a rent record or a shared-expense ledger

There Is No Merchant on This Document

Almost everything a receipt normally does is missing here. Nothing was sold, so there is no item list. No business was involved, so there is no store address. No goods changed hands, so there is no tax. Strip those away and what remains is a transfer record: two names, an amount, a timestamp and an identifier.

That sparseness is not a weakness. It is what makes the document usable as proof of payment for things that never generate a normal receipt, like a rent share, a private sale between individuals, or a repayment between friends who both need it written down.

The Memo Line Carries the Meaning

Because the transfer itself says nothing about why the money moved, the note attached to it does all the explanatory work. A payment marked as rent for a named month is evidence. The same payment with an empty note is just a number, and reconstructing its purpose a year later is guesswork.

Give the memo its own labeled row rather than treating it as an item description. Anyone reading the confirmation should be able to see the purpose of the payment in the same glance that shows the amount.

Funding Source and Why It Matters Later

A transfer can be funded from a stored balance, a linked bank account or a card, and the choice affects fees, settlement timing and how the payment appears on a statement. A confirmation that names the source lets you match it against the right line in the right account.

That matching is usually the whole reason the document is needed. Someone is asking you to prove a payment cleared, and the useful confirmation is the one that says which account it left and when, not just that it happened.

Proof of Payment, and What This Is Not

Honest uses are easy to list: proving a rent share was paid, recording a private sale of a used item, keeping a ledger of shared household costs, or replacing a confirmation that was deleted from a phone that no longer exists.

Receipt Caker builds generic documents and does not reproduce any payment app's interface, logo or typography. It also cannot verify that a payment occurred, and neither can the document it produces. Recording a transfer you genuinely made is legitimate. Producing a confirmation for money that never moved, in order to convince someone a debt was settled, is fraud.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

Should a P2P receipt show tax?
No. A personal transfer is not a taxed sale, so leave the rate at zero. Adding a tax line makes the document look like a merchant receipt, which it is not.
What identifier should I put on it?
The payment or transaction ID from the app, in its own custom row. That string is what support teams and banks search on if the payment is ever queried.
Can I use this as proof I paid rent?
It records the transfer and works well alongside a bank statement. A signed rent receipt from your landlord is stronger evidence, and our rent receipt page covers that format.
Can I record a transfer in another currency?
Yes. The builder accepts any currency and locale, so a cross-border transfer formats the way it did in the sending country.
Is the builder free to use?
Free and unlimited for PNG export. Pro removes the watermark and unlocks PDF export and logo uploads.
